Ouch!

A gigantic ulcer in my mouth is definitely ouch!-worthy.
I've put Oral Aid 5 times, today alone.
Which is kinda working.
The....thing was swollen when I woke up this morning. Go figure!
I don't really mind the ulcer that much...
I just wish I wouldn't keep accidentally chomping down on it when I eat.
It's agony!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Huffing and puffing*
Great.
On top of the ulcer, I now sound like the ugly Big Bad Wolf.
This is the most perfect day of my life!
(In case you missed it, that was meant to be sarcastic...)
Woaahkay, now I sound catty.
*Steering away*
Honestly, I got nothin' to talk about.
So, what were we talking about? O_O
*Blank face*

Life Stinks

Literally.
Not metaphorically.
My hair smells of chemicals right now.
And I can't wash my hair for three stinkin' days!!
Sigh.
Well, look on the bright side...My hair's straight.
Finally, my parents allow me to do rebonding after years (okay, just one) of begging.
Okay, not REALLY.
But I asked for it before.
So now it's my Christmas present. :DD
But I got a lot of Christmas/New Year presents...
Well, for one, I finally found the perfect pair of ballerina flats.
Then, there's the two T-shirts and a pair of shorts.
And four charms for my charm bracelet.
Sooooooo happy this year.(:
Wow, that sounds really...materialistic. I am, I mean. xD LOL.
Ugh, my back hurts from rebonding too.
Three hours straight in a chair.
No wonder people don't do these kind of things often.
Hui Er's back from Taiwan!!! :DD
Finally.(:
My dad wants to go there some day...
He says it's 'cause of all the yummy hawker-style food.
Uhm, I'm not really into all that stuff.
I prefer gourmet. So I'll be flying to Paris, si'l vous plait. (:

ACEd It!

ACE Ed-venture party last night!
Woots! :DD
It was totally much more fun than last year's.
Last year's just...sucked. Like hell. I mean, only like 5 people came...including Teacher Kim. ==
Yeah, last night's was definitely much better.
The party didn't start straight away though.
Teacher Kim wanted us to present the 'Billy and I' comparison thingy first.
I just made everything up on the spot.
Ken Ric's presentation was wild...and stupid as always.
But I'm always quite impressed for some freakishly weird reason...O.O
It was like:
Billy is a boy. I am a boy.
Billy treats his little brother badly, I have no little brother.
Then the guys thought of ANOTHER little brother...
...Billy has lost his virgin...I have not.
Teacher: What?! Billy has lost his virginity?! Ken Ric!
Ken Ric: No, teacher. What I meant to say was, Billy lost his trip to Virgin..ia. Yeah, Virginia. Teacher, no-one asked you to think so far...
LOL :DD
After that....
PAR-TAYY!!!!
We started off by eating Syndy's doughnuts first.
All of them are the same flavours....
Well, that right there is a let-down. Sorry, DeeDee! xD
There was also some pizza that Teacher Kim bought for us, which we finished in about less than five minutes.
And quite a lot of Coke/Sprite/100 Plus, or was it Pepsi? Argh, who cares?
Everyone was pretty much acting drunk anyway.
I tried mixing all the drinks together. Not bad, a little less fizzy.
We spilled drinks everywhere. xD
Then Syndy and I dropped M&Ms into the guys' cups when they weren't noticing.
And BTW, red M&Ms turn brown after being dropped into Coke. (:
Wen Xin came after that, bringing a whole ice box full of popsicle sticks.
I got a Ribena one. (:
Though I dropped almost half of it. O_o
Before that, Hui Jie and I were using them to play Star Wars.
She keeps insisting that she won, but I KNOW that I did!!!! Hah, in your face, Hui Jie~~!
The guys kept singing See-lo Green's 'Forget' You.
Uhm, but they sang they sang the 'real' version.
And then Hong Ing kept singing when Teacher Kim came in. xD Oopsy! (:
YJ for some reason, kept trying to stuff his head into the ice box Wen Xin brought.
Eh...didn't work so well.
The snow packs were damn cold!!
Freezing!
But what do you expect?
They're snow packs. ==

(No Title)

Got the x-ray for my teeth today.
And bought a book from Book Xcess.
Thanks for the Memories (:

Yeah, it's quite an old book, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet.
It's sold at only RM 19.90 at Book Xcess. Cool. :DD
Original price RM 69.90.
And I just found out that Cecelia Ahern is actually the daughter of a former Ireland prime minister. Wow. Cool. (:
When we got to Amcorp Mall, we went to the concierge to ask where the bookshop was.
And the person was like, "Saya tak tahu lah...Saya baru datang semalam saja."
My dad: "Saya juga baru datang saja. Baru hari ini."
xD WIN!!! :DDD
My dad told me to keep the parking ticket.
So I did, in my front pocket.
Then he kept telling me to keep the ticket in my back ticket.
I asked why, and he said: "Because your butt is flat, so when you sit, the ticket won't get folded. If you put it in the front pocket, it will get folded. So put it in the back pocket!!! "
WTH. O.o
Ooooook.
So my mum says my ass is big, and my dad says it's flat.
Jeez, thanks guys!
Now to lighten the mood with some random bunny suicide pictures. :DD

Tea Tarik

Got my teeth checked today at Klinik Lim in SS15.
Dr. Yeeny Huang. (:
She's pwetty....xD LOL.
Before going to the dentist, my dad and I ate a Mamak stall.
Roti telur. All-time favourite! :DD
Then, we ended up doing Sudoku and crossword puzzle in the newspaper to kill time.
(I never should have introduced crossword puzzles to my dad, now he wants to do them everyday with me. HORROR!!!)
Oh yeah...
Reason why I named this post Tea Tarik?
There was this guy, I think he was a guilo, and he called: "Mari! Can I have more tea?"
And I was thinking lke: Oh, maybe he's drinking teh oh ais or something.."
And then the worker put a glass of teh tarik on the table. O.o
Anyway, to the dentist's!!!
The dentist wanted extract a tooth first.
It was wobbly anyway, but I didn't have the guys to pull it out. xD
After that, she explained all the types of braces.
Normal braces. Two and a half years max. Painful. Extract four teeth.
Damon braces. One and a half years max. Not so painful.
Gold braces. Uhm... I don't think so...
Crystal braces. Very, very slow. Very, very expensive.
Invisible braces. Very not necessary.
So final result...
Damon braces! :DD
I'm putting them on the 17th, so I hope when you all see me later, it won't be that weird.
After that, the dentist took the mold of my teeth.
That part was uhm... gag-worthy.
Seriously, she kept saying: "Breathe through your nose! Press your tongue down! Now push it up!"
Uhm, that's a lot to think about when you hardly have enough oxygen going to you brain...:x
The metal mold thingy kept pressing down my throat, making me wanna puke the whole time.
It was better on the lower set of teeth, though the damn thing kept pressing on my tongue.
So not a really nice experience...
Wonder how I'll get along with braces...
Eh...my guess is not very well.
Moving on...
I'm getting addicted to Taylor Swift's Long Live.

I said remember this moment
In the back of my mind
The time we stood with our shaking hands
The crowds and stands went wild
We were the Kings and the Queens
And they read off our names
The night you danced like you knew our lives
Would never be the same
You held your head like a hero
On a history book page
It was the end of a decade
But the start of an age

Long live the walls we crashed through
How the kingdom lights shined just for me and you
I was screaming long live all the magic we made
And bring on all the pretenders
One day we will be remembered

I said remember this feeling
I passed the pictures around
Of all the years that we stood there
On the side-lines wishing for right now
We are the Kings and the Queens
You traded your baseball cap for a crown
When they gave us our trophies
And we help them up for our town
And the cynics were outraged
Screaming this is absurd
Cause for a moment a band of thieves
In ripped up jeans got to rule the world

Long live the walls we crashed through
How the kingdom lights shined just for me and you
I was screaming long live all the magic we made
And bring on all the pretenders

I'm not afraid
Long live all the mountains we moved
I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you
I was screaming long live the look on your face
And bring on all the pretenders
One day we will be remembered

Hold on
Just spinning around
Confetti falls to the ground
May these memories break our fall
Can you take a moment, promise me this
That you'll stand by me forever
But if God forbid fate should step in
And force us into a goodbye
If you have children some day
When they point to the pictures
Please tell them my name
Tell them how the crowds went wild
Tell them how I hope they shine

Long live the walls we crashed through
I had the time of my life with you
Long, long live the walls we crashed through
How the kingdom lights shined just for me and you
I was screaming long live all the magic we made
And bring on all the pretenders
I'm not afraid
Singing long live all the mountains we moved
I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you
Long, long live the look on your face
And bring on all the pretenders
One day we will be remembered

"Long live all the mountains we moved, I had the time of my life, fighting dragons with you..:DD"

Happy-ness in a Nutshell

Happiness. (:
Full time?
As a teen?
Gosh, that must be hard.
(OK, it IS hard.Who's gonna deny that? Certainly not me.)
But we can make happiness.
Don't give a crap to those people that say emotions can't be controlled.
If this were true, we'd all be going true a rollercoaster of moods in a day.
Which does NOT happen!!
Obvious much.
Look at this:
"A guy asked me,
'What if I don't want to be happy?
What if I want to be miserable?'
I said, 'Be miserable - if it makes you happy!"
Make sense? 'Course it does.
There was a TV show about a guy named P.C. Taylor.
P.C. removes garbage. He and his team clean the subway tunnels in New York City - not the platforms, the tubes! He spends his life in the dirty, stinking, rat-infested, trash-ridden tunnels through which the trains run.
In the documentary, they took the cameras underground. It's like being in a long cave, but not so healthy. P.C. has been at this job for 25 years - killing the rats and hauling out the rubbish.
The interviewer asked P.C., "So do you like your job?"
"Like it?" he said. "I love it! Homeless people live down ther in those tunnels. And I'm helping to give them a better home. And while I'm helping the homeless, I'm putting my two daughters through college!"
P.C. is proud of his work.
He also proves that it is possible to find job satisfaction in a miserable workplace.
It's not actually the garbage and rats that excite him - it's his belief that he is helping to make the world a better place.
In other words, it's easier to do a lousy job if you are focused on WHY you do it. (:
Hehe. That was obviously from the book.
So don't say I wrote that, or I'll have the publishers running on my tail! xD

Tweet for Crime

A woman in China has been sentenced to a year in a labour camp after posting a message on the social networking website Twitter.
The fiancee of human rights activist Cheng Jianping told the BBC she had been accused of disrupting social order, but her message had been a joke.
She had repeated a Twitter comment urging nationalist protesters to smash Japan's pavilion at the Shanghai Expo, adding the words "Charge, angry youth". Twitter is banned in China.
However, many people use it by circumventing internet controls.
Diplomatic row
The offending online "tweet", which has landed 46-year-old Cheng Jianping with a year of re-education through labour, was posted in the middle of last month.
At the time, China and Japan were embroiled in their worst diplomatic row in recent years over a group of uninhabited, but disputed, islands in the East China Sea.
Groups of young Chinese had been demonstrating against Japan, publicly smashing Japanese products.
Cheng Jianping's fiance, Hua Chunhui, told the BBC he first posted the short message on Twitter, ridiculing the demonstrators, saying their actions were nothing new and if they really wanted to make an impact they should smash the Japanese Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo.
Ms Cheng then "retweeted" the mocking message, he said, forwarding it and adding the words "charge, angry youth".
Ten days later she was detained by police "for disrupting social order" and has now been sent to the Shibali River women's labour camp in Zhengzhou city in Henan Province.
Mr Hua said his fiance had started a hunger strike and he was trying to get her released to undergo her re-education at home.
Contacted by the BBC, staff at the camp said they had no information to give.
But Mr Hua said documents from the labour re-education committee made it clear Ms Cheng had been committed because of her single "tweet".
Another Twitter user has now tweeted that Ms Cheng should apply for a place in the Guinness Book of World Records, because the five words she added to the message had cost her a year of freedom.
Dissidents
Her detention is a sign of how closely China's government scrutinises comment on the internet.
The authorities are fearful of the power of the internet to stir up discontent.
They are also wary of the way nationalist demonstrations like those targeting Japan have the potential to run out of control.
Ms Cheng may also have been targeted because she is a local human rights activist.
Her fiance said she had signed petitions including one calling for the release of China's jailed Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo.
And she had been detained by police for five days in August this year after she voiced support for Liu Xianbin, a long-time campaigner for democracy in China, involved in the protests that preceded the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989.
Liu Xianbin had been detained again this year, apparently suspected of inciting subversion of state power for criticising China's Communist Party.

This is soooooo sad. One little tweet, and the woman's in jail.
I mean, if this rule was put into effect in the USA, I think more than 50% of the population would be in jail.
And when someone asks why they were put in jail, the answer would be: "Oh, they tweeted!"
WTH O.o
See what I mean?
Today, I just found out (rather embarassingly), China is actually a communist country, kinda like North Korea.
Hmm...Didn't know that.
Well, at least I know now!! :D
Better late than never.
And when it comes to stuff you don't wanna do, it's better never than late. xD
I went to Pavillion, KL yesterday, and it's already decked out in Christmas gear.
Whoopee-doo-dah!
Anyway, my mom and I checked out the Anya Hindmarch Autumn-Winter collection yesterday, and I gotta say, I'm impressed. Kinda.
The main themes of the collection are really cool. Especially the colour combinations...:D
  • Black, red and gold
  • Anthracite, blue and leopard
  • Grey, burgundy and black
  • Tan, bronze and violet

But here's the catch (yes, there is one), almost all the bags are made out of animal.

Python skin.

Cow leather.

A complete no-no for me.

Sorry, Anya...:D

Invisibility

This is soooooooooo cool.
There's this Chinese artist who can make himself 'invisible'.
Actually what he does is paint to match the background, and he does it wonderfully.

AWESOME!!! :D
He blends right in, literally.
But he stands out, metaphorically. Lawl. (:
Haha.
Finally used up my MPH voucher.
All RM 40 of it.
On a self help book.
Before you think that I've lost it, lemme just point out that it's a really cool self help book.
So if you disagree, bugger off.

10:10

First things first, I just wanna make a special note of saying that the title of this post is both random and unrandom.
Half-half.
It's the time I've been able to see for two days in a row. ^^
Must be a sign or something...
Anyway..
I still feel like puking almost everytime I eat.
Already four people have asked me if I'm pregnant.
(And the answer is: NO, OF COURSE I'M NOT!!!!!)
Moving on to the good stuff.
1A1 outing yesterday.
For once, I'm gonna be paying attention to little teensy details.
So get set! It's gonna be a loooooooooooooooooooong post. :DD
OK, at the start of the day, I was worrying my brains out wondering whether everyone who agreed to come to the outing would actually show up...
And I was prooving that point by sending at least a dozen text messages to every single person. xP But I didn't have to worry after all.
In fact, some people were actually early. (i.e. Nicole...Always early, BTW)
Then the next person to call me to tell me he had arrived was Xi Khai. Only boy. *sigh*
So. It was just me, Nicole and Xi Khai waiting for the rest...
We chatted a little about Cik Noor Shahizan's wedding for a bit, while I tried to bug a few more guys to come even though it was thoroughly last-minute stuff...
But points for trying, right? Hehe.
Then, Sin Yun arrived while we were looking at the directory next to Starbucks.
We seriously didn't know what to do then. So we just...were there. Fullstop.
Then Dollicia arrived....wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt. Which Nicole made a valid point of saying that even Xi Khai's shirt looked better than hers...
Is that an insult or a compliment? O.o
Anyhoo, after that, we goofed off a little.
There was this fat lion thing on the directory that had a speech bubble hanging over it saying "You are here!".
Nicole kept saying stuff like: "I'm not that fat!" and "The lion's Sin Yun!"
There was this ad on the electronic screen of the directory that said "Turn ON your bluetooth and press YES to enjoy GREAT DEALS!"
So Nicole was kept pressing the 'YES' word on the ad and it seriously changed into another ad, at which point she kept asking where were her great deals?
I suggested that maybe she should on her handphone bluetooth.
After she did, she kept waiting for the ad to show up again, so she could press the word 'YES' again.
But it didn't show up anymore. Creeeeeeepy...xD
Haha. We went to see the Beryl's ferris wheel after that.
I mean, c'mon.. Who puts a ferris wheel in the middle of a shopping mall. And huh-lo?!! It's been there for AGES!!!
Next guest to arrive. Hui Er.
We surprised her all right. With our stupid-ness. :DD
We pushed Dollicia out to greet her and all of us hid behind pillars and signboards.
Dollicia told Hui Er that she was the only one who arrived.
Too bad Hui Er didn't buy that...xD
Hui Er chased everyone until Nicole was only one left.
They kept running round and round a pillar. What can I say? Like mother, like daughter. ;D
We ate Burger King. Yummy. About RM 80 or something. :DD
When we were ordering, Nicole wondered to me if we could ask for one of those Burger King crown thingys. I told her it was for the kiddie meals (though I wasn't sure they existed BK xP)
After we finished eating, I saw this woman carrying two crowns away, so I pointed that out.
Then, everyone was like, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
*evil laugh*
Okay, that was totally random.
At first everyone wanted to send Hui Er to get some.
Well, she IS the cutest. ^^
But then everyone went together...except me. I had to guard their bags. O.o
So, Nicole retold the whole thing to me:
They went to the counter and asked for the crown thingys from the worker but the worker wasn't sure if he could give it to them, so Sin Yun followed him to find the manager. When the manager came out, he asked how many we wanted, and we said like uhm, nine....xP
The manager was soooooooo nice.
He gave us all the crowns, even though there were only seven..(:
After that, Jia Ying called to say that she had already reached the main entrance, so it was my job to welcome her.
Then we played a game.
A very, very fun game.
Indeed. :DD
Since everyone had gotten their BK crowns, we decided to make it a little harder for Jia Ying to find us all.
We invented a little treasure hunt for her to find everyone who came to the outing.
So basically, she had to find everyone, and each of them had their own hiding place and were wearing the BK crowns.
It was...
Not really much fun. Jia Ying and I had to hack for AGES trying to find them!!!!
And then a few more EONS to round them all up at A&W.
Plus, I had to go welcome Ying Ying and Xin Ping as well.
After the little treasure hunt, we had our group photos taken. (:
Almost all of us wore the BK crowns... In A&W. LMAO.
At least they didn't kick us out.
Jia Ying and Sin Yun asked some random dude to take the group photo, so everyone was in it.
Dollicia had to go home after that, so Nicole and I sent her off to McDonalds.
The lift at the skating rink was damn cacat.
It kept wanting to close but not quite closing so it was...yeah, not a really nice experience.
At first there were lots of people, so Nicole and I were crammed in one corner. Then when the doors wouldn't close for I don't know how many gazillion times, everyone got out except us.
Now here where it gets hilarious, Nicole and I try the 'close' button again... and it actually worked! The doors closed!!! Oh. My. God. Epic win!!! xD LOL.
We met up with the others at Baskin Robbins.
Nicole and I spent WEEKS trying to decide which flavour to pick.
In the end, I chose Neopolitan Dynamite and Nicole chose Chocolate Cookie Crackle.
We went back to our table to enjoy our BR (yummy!) while debating what we should do next.
These days, my brain is so fried that even though we'd already agreed that we didn't wanna watch a movie, I kept telling them that we had to hurry to buy tickets. WTH == Sorry, guys!
In the end, we decided to go to....(wait for it..) Red Box!!!!! :DD
A brilliant suggestion from Xin Ping. (:
On the way there, we stopped at one of those stalls where they sold necklaces and bracelets and stuff that we could customize ourselves.
So we decided to make one for Jia Ying as a gift.
She kept insisting that it wasn't necessary, so we wouldn't tell her the price.
And I'm not about to say it now, in fear that she might strangle us to death. Joking, joking. xD
HELENA
Hehe. That's what it said on the necklace. ;D
Red Box was capital-A AWESOME!!!
Though I DID have to get a member card so that everyone could get in at student price...
But, oh well! What's passed is past.
We had a rockin' time at Red Box.
And Xi Khai sang!!!
Like an angel no less. :DD
So proud that he's from Lick Hung. (:
I knew very, very little Chinese songs, so I had to survive by singing everything off-tune.
I had to go home at 5.00p.m. So, Xi Khai and Jia Ying sent me back to Starbucks.

All in all, I had a great time, even though we were kinda lost at first.
But it was all worth it, alright!

The End

You know, I always wanted the end of the school year to come...

But unlike most people, it's not because of the end-of-year school holidays. Not really.

I wanted to know how it would feel when the end actually did come.

Would I feel happy? Relieved? Excited?

Or sad? Moody? Terrified?

Well, I know now.

I'm moodless. Literally. Nothing at all. Deflated.

Seriously, I've never felt so emotionless before, even when we graduated from primary school, leaving everything behind.

That had almost felt like a relief, to get everything off my shoulders.

But now...*sigh*

I hadn't thought about all of this when the last bell rang yesterday.

And I didn't do it on the car ride home.

But when I was trying to sleep last night. It hit me. A gigantic blow.

It was over.

1A1 as a unit was...gone.

We would meet next year...

But never as before.

Maybe some of you wonder: What is there to miss? It's just another phase in life.

And it is. I agree with you.

But then again, maybe my attachment to 1A1 is more needy.

I transferred into this school in March.

Back then, 1A1 was all i did have.

Next year, I'll probably be thinking about how messed up I was this year.

Yeah, a lot of you know my mistakes.

Stupid, stupid mistakes.

If I could go back in time and change everything, would I?

Probably not.

Everything seems worth everything I've done. Good or bad.

Taking it as lessons of life works for me. So I've got no
complains.

Sure. I've changed a lot. But what does that matter when I've
been myself all along?

Maybe you just didn't open up your eyes wide enough to see that I am worth it.

So, I'm still gonna be here.

Waiting for the end.

To start all over again.

"The hardest part of ending is starting again..."
